Self-tanners offer fake, no-bake summer glow

WATERLOO --- As the weather warms up, skin starts to
emerge from under the layers of clothing that protected it
all winter.

For those uncomfortable with the pasty-white skin they'll
see when long sleeves and pants are replaced by tank tops
and shorts, there are options for adding color to your
complexion.

Self-tanning lotions and sprays are a hot market. They
promise a summer glow without the damaging effects of
ultraviolet rays. Several Courier staffers put a few of these
color potions to the test. Here's what they had to say:
